Barry Communications Names Cohen Chief Technology Officer

Worcester voice and data solutions firm Barry Communications has named Randall S. Cohen to the position of chief technology officer. Cohen previously was president and owner of Griffin Business Solutions of Framingham, an independent communications consulting firm, and has worked as information technology manager for Advocates for Human Potential Inc. of Sudbury. Before that, Cohen served as chief technologist/senior Ssystems engineer for ACS Voice Data Systems of Needham, as director of customer and technical services for Personal Visual Communications of Natick and as a systems engineer for PictureTel Corp. of Danvers. Previously, he was the owner of RC Enterprises of Brookline, N.H., a provider of Novell-based network solutions. Cohen earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, in addition to an associate's degree in business management from Mass Bay Community College of Wellesley Hills and an associate's degree in network engineering from New Hampshire Technical College of Nashua.
