Ethernet Switches
Adtran's NetVanta Ethernet switches offer affordable platforms with flexible product options to meet your specific requirements:

Security

- Security and Virtual Private Network (VPN) is built into each ethernet switch, router and WIFI devices.*
- Setting options are provided on each device so that customers can choose whether or not to activate the security features.
*Barry Communications will, upon request, sell Adtran switches, routers and WIFI devices that do not come with security features, but we do not recommend that path for most customers.
Wi-Fi
Adtran's Wireless Acces Point (WAP) are the perfect compliment for the wireless capabilities of you Adtran Router or Switch.
- Small footprint - allowing it to be discretely placed anywhere
- No power outlet required - Ethernet port can be used to power the unit, freeing the installation from conventional power restrictions
- Secure - offers standard security authentication such as shared key and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) as well as advanced security needs such as supporting multiple SSIDs.
- Virtual Access Points - Supporting multiple users while securely segmenting their traffic.
- Centrally Managed - no matter where the unit sits, it can be centrally managed through the controller unit CLI or GUI.
