Frame Relay is a high-speed data transport service
designed to provide cost-efficient data transmission
for intermittent traffic between local area networks
(LANs) and between end-points in a wide area network
(WAN).
The Verizon Frame Relay network delivers superior
service due to the design of its platform. Frame
Relay is delivered on a fully meshed backbone
with redundant paths, offering resiliency and
eliminating a single point of failure.
Frame Relay Service is an extensive offering with
a facilities-based presence in 47 countries, including
the U.S., and access to 51 additional countries
through special agreements. Frame Relay Service's
robust coverage incorporates more than 200 cities
and numerous U.S. points of presence. This unique
structure links customer locations throughout
the world with seamless connections between all
origination and destination sites.
