Services
This award-winning suite of services is designed
for Nortel’s Business Communications Manager
platform of converged voice and data system devices
and requires a high speed VPN connection to our
BCI Ops Center. BMS offers a single source of
accountability for all Nortel voice and data system
components. The BMS provides Nortel voice and
data system:
Monitoring (24/7)
• Remote monitoring, notification (alerts/alarms)
• Offsite back-ups of Nortel system configuration
• Secure access/intruder detection
• Inventory/asset management
• Data collection and reporting.
Software Management
• Includes all updates and patches to keep
your Nortel system stable and reliable.
Maintenance
• Remote maintenance
• Responsive repair/replacement of malfunctioning
Nortel voice/data devices, including all parts
and labor
• Priority access to Nortel Emergency Technical
Assistance Services (ETAS).

Other Maintenance Services
Barry Communications provides full,
partial and customized service plans for
all Nortel legacy systems. For customers
who do not choose a maintenance plan, service
is available on a time and material basis.
Nortel Emergency Technical
Support Services
Barry Communications is able to utilize
Nortel Emergency Technical Assistance Services
(ETAS) for all Nortel systems sold. This additional
resource provides direct access to Nortel Networks
system engineers in the unlikely event that our
service organization is unable to resolve a problem.
Warranty and Maintenance customers receive this
support at no additional charge.
Customer Training and Education Services
Barry Communications provides complete end user training as part of our
installation support services. In addition, Nortel Networks offers customer education
services both in Nortel Customer Training locations as well as through CD ROM
self paced training classes.
